Tata Motors’ new flagship product, Hexa to go on sale by November

The Tata Hexa is expected to go on sale by November 2016. Over the last few months, it has been spotted testing across the length and breadth of India. Now, with media activities including first drives set to commence from October 2016, the launch of much awaited Tata Hexa will take place by November 2016.

Those who have driven the Hexa already, on the condition of anonymity, reveal that Hexa is the best Tata car made till date. Be it design, performance, stability, refinement, etc, Hexa excels benchmarks in every department. This makes us even more excited ahead of the test drives scheduled for next month.

Powering the Hexa is the same 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine which debuted on board the Safari Storme. The motor is tuned to generate 154 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AT which debuted in the Thai-spec Xenon pickup will constitute the transmission lineup.

Once launched, Tata Hexa will be able to compete with the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV500. Expect the car to be priced in the range of INR 12-17 lakh.
