Already revealed at an media-only event in Berlin earlier this month, the Skoda Kodiaq 7-seat SUVs interior and exterior has been revealed in a new set of images ahead of its global debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show later this month.

The Skoda Kodiaq is closely related to the VW’s upcoming Teramont (production version of the CrossBlue concept). The SUV is based on the MQB platform and will be powered by a lineup of 3 petrol and 2 diesel engines. Both manual and DSG automatic transmissions will be on offer. Higher variants will be equipped with 4×4 system.

On the inside, the dashboard layout and design are fresh, there are several familiar bits that come from the Superb sedan such as the steering wheel, instrument console, door pads, etc. The full black color theme is complemented by glossy black inserts and chrome accented knobs.

The centre console houses new AC vents and a neat touchscreen infotainment system. The seats are upholstered in leather and have decidedly premium contours. The middle row occupants get dedicated floor-mounted AC vents.

The second and third row seats fold flat to create a cavernous storage space. The Kodiaq can be specified in both 5- and 7-seat versions. The car has a maximum boot capacity of 2,065 litres. Feature highlights include door edge guards, optional heated steering wheel, and electric child safety and sleep headrests.
