2017 Audi Q5 SUV is all set for making global debut in the days ahead. Before that happens, Audi has started sharing teaser photos and videos of their new generation Q5 online. Though the teasers does not reveal the car completely, the revealed front and rear does give a good enough idea of how the new-gen Q5 will be design wise.

2017 Audi Q5 will be produced at the company’s San Jose Chiapa plant in Mexico from where it will make its way to India in CKD format sometime in the second half of 2017, to be assembled at the Audi India’s plant in Aurangabad.

Based on the MLB-Evo platform, the new Audi Q5 comes with a sharper front end, Matrix LED headlights and turn indicators. On the inside it will feature Audi virtual cockpit, digital instrument cluster and Multi Media Interface (MMI) infotainment system with touch control.

Set to be around 100 kgs lighter than its earlier counterpart, the 2017 Audi Q5 will be powered by range of efficient and powerful 4 and 6 cylinder TFSI petrol and TDI engines offering displacement between 1.4 liters and 3.0 liters. These engines will be mated either to a 6 speed manual, 7 speed S tronic and 8 Speed Tiptronic.

Sales of 2017 Audi Q5 are scheduled to start in Europe by the end of this year while global markets such as North America, Asia Pacific and Middle East will receive the model in 2017. India launch is pegged for later in 2017.
