Earlier this week, a new fully-faired 150 cc variant of Suzuki Gixxer was spied in Indonesia. It is believed to be a facelift of the Gixxer SF on sale in India.

Body panels including fuel tank and front full fairing of Suzuki GSX-R 150 test mule were covered with dense camouflage, concealing finer details / sculpted lines. Since it is a mere makeover from naked version of Gixxer, except front fairing all else like fuel tank, tail piece, exhaust unit, suspension, brakes, alloy wheels and tires will be directly carried over.

What is to be noted here is that MotoBlast has drawn Suzuki GSX-R 150 as a proper sport bike, with sport riding position courtesy of split handlebars. In addition to that, the spy images from earlier this week confirm the addition of LED headlamps with LED side blinkers, LED taillights as an addition to the Gixxer upgrade.

In the powertrain department, expect a boost in power and torque as compared to the India-spec Gixxer and Gixxer SF variants. In India, the Gixxer twins are powered by the same 154.9 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which produces 14.8 PS max power @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm peak torque @ 6,000 rpm, and mated to 5-speed gearbox.
