DSK Benelli India sets up second dealership in Pune

Pune has been Benelli’s home ground with its corporate headquarters and very first showroom situated here. The city now boasts of a second dealership from the Italian Marque and is the latest destination for DSK Benelli’s 19th showroom. It is an unprecedented move for a premium bike maker, to have two showrooms in the same city. A move that Benelli will be repeating tomorrow as they launch another dealership in Worli, Mumbai in sync with the Jogeshwari dealership they opened this month. The day after, they will be launching another showroom in Baroda. By the end of the year, DSK Benelli to have 35 dealers across India.

Part of DSK Benelli’s sales success is on the fact that they have quite a presence with the 250-300cc premium bike segment with the TNT 25 and TNT 300 that have been their best-selling models. The Tornado 302 will be launching in the coming months. According to Sirish Kulkarni, Chairman of DSK Benelli group, the launch of the faired bike has been delayed as they want to bring in the ABS-equipped Tornado 302 here in accordance with the forthcoming government regulations making it mandatory for all higher capacity bikes to have ABS. Benelli are currently in the process of stockpiling bikes and the new versions should hit our shores by the last week of November.
