Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new "Repsol Honda Racing Replica Limited Edition" of its popular CBR 250R sportbike. With the legendary RC213V-inspired paint scheme, the limited edition CBR 250R will be available in two versions -- Marc Márquez 93 and Dani Pedrosa 26. There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle and its booking is now open at all the Honda Exclusive Authorised Dealerships (HEADS) across India.

Both the versions of the new Repsol edition signifies the legacy of their respective riders, with an all-new MotoGP paint scheme. Announcing the new edition, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales & marketing, HMSI, said, “After witnessing the exemplary performance and success of Repsol Honda Team at the at the 2016 MotoGP season, we wanted to offer customers and racing enthusiasts, a unique experience of owning their very own Repsol Racing Replica motorcycle. We have adopted Team Repsol Honda paint & graphic scheme directly inspired by the legendary RC213V including the numbers of our star riders, Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa.”

Honda is launching the new Repsol edition of the CBR 250R to celebrate its victory in the 2016 MotoGP championship. Topping the world standings in the 2016 season, team Repsol Honda's rider, 23-year-old Marc Marquez registered the third MotoGP world championship title in his name. On the other hand, Dani Pedrosa managed to secure the sixth position in the MotoGP world championship 2016.

Coming to the bike, there are no mechanical changes to the bike as we mentioned above and it continues to be powered by a 250cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine. The Euro IV-compliant engine delivers 26.5PS of power and 22.9Nm of torque using the efficient PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system that provides optimum fuel efficiency as well. The Honda CBR 250R is popular among enthusiasts for its ergonomic design, sporty fairing, smooth engine and impressive manoeuvrability, and the new "Repsol Honda Racing Replica Limited Edition" paint scheme further adds a delight factor to the package.
