Bajaj Auto has introduced the updated versions of the Pulsarrange that includes135LS, 180 and the 220.They getenginesupgrades to overcome theongoingBSIV emission norms following the Avenger220, which was the first BSIV complaint bike from Bajaj.

The new Pulsar 180now gets a rear disc brake.The 180cc motor has identical output of 17.25PS at 8500 rpm and 14.22 Nm of torque and 6500 rpm respectively.The BSIV tuned Pulsar 135 LS's engine makes 13.48PS at 9000 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 7000rpm.
The 220 is the best selling bike in the 200 cc braket for good reason. It's USP is excellent value for money and a host of features. The 220 cc motor produces 21.05 PS at 8500 rpm and 19.12 Nm of torque at 7000rpm.
All the bikes now have a new dual-tone colour scheme dubbed the Laser Edge Collection. Apart from the colour scheme, The 220 and 135LS get a completely blacked out exhaust unit. All bikes including the Pulsar 150 get better seat cushions and revised instrumental cluster which now gets blue backlighting.
The Pulsar 150 will currently continue with the BSIII complaint engine ang gets just the cosmetic upgrades for now. They are working on a BS4 compliant engine for the 150. All the upcoming bikes from Bajaj will now be getting BSIV complaint engines and that includes the Dominar 400 and V12.
