Besides the legendary litre-class Ninja-inspired styling, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets a compact 296cc, parallel-twin engine that delivers smooth response and strong acceleration. The fuel-injected motor makes 39PS of power at 11,000rpm and delivers a peak torque of 27Nm at 10,000rpm. The mill comes mated to a slick six-speed gearbox using an F.F.C. clutch having assist and slipper functions for lesser lever effort and smooth downshifts.
