New Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS heading for launch
Bajaj Auto had launched the Pulsar 200 NS in India back 2012. But, due to undisclosed reasons, the manufacturer discontinued the motorcycle from India. Though on sale in export markets, the reason behind discontinuing 200 NS was always a mystery. Enthusiasts were angry.

But not any more. There is some really good news. Bajaj Auto has finally confirmed that the new Pulsar 200 NS will be launched in India. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is coming soon. The first teaser image was uploaded on Bajaj Pulsar’s official facebook page a few days back, and now the first bikes have started arriving at dealerships across India.
One of the most preferred naked street fighters in the segment, Bajaj has updated the new 200 NS thoroughly. Not only the engine is a new 194.4 cc unit, but it also comes with FI, unlike previously where it was offered only with carburettor. Sadly, India will not get the FI variant, neither it will come with ABS, not even as option.2017 Bajaj Pulsar is powered by a 194.4 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine.
This engine delivers 24.5 PS at 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm, the same as before. Transmission is taken care by a 6 speed unit. Kerb weight stays at 145 kgs.Visually, the refreshed Pulsar 200 NS comes with new styling kits, along with new dual-tone color schemes, and a relocated pulsar logo.
The upgraded variant would carry an increased price tag and would be positioned below the Pulsar RS 200. It will continue to be a cheaper alternative to the KTM Duke 200. More details will be revealed once the bike is officially launched in the coming weeks.
