New top-end variant Maruti WagonR VXi+ replaces Stingray

Maruti Suzuki India has updated the WagonR lineup with the addition of a new top end variant. The WagonR range is now offered in LXi, VXi and VXi+ trims while price ranges between INR 4.14 lakhs and INR 5.36 lakhs. As seen earlier, new Maruti WagonR will be on offer with petrol, petrol + CNG engine options. Transmission options on offer are either a 5 speed MT or a AMT gearbox.

New Maruti WagonR is offered in 12 trims. The base LXi trim gets power windows and power steering along with air conditioning while the new VXi+ trim gets airbags and ABS as standard accessories. Interiors feature dual tone beige and black color scheme seen on its dashboard along with gloss black accents, beige fabric upholstery and day/night IRVMs. It will also receive features such as central lock and adjustable head rests.Engine specifications sees no change and will continue to sport a 1.0 K-Series engine. This engine offers 67 bhp peak power and 91 Nm peak torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission or a AMT. Fuel efficiency figure stands at 16 kmpl in city limits going upto 22 kmpl on the highway.

Maruti WagonR VXi+ Dimensions and Colours
New Maruti WagonR VXi+ is offered in a choice of 7 colours. These are Superior White, Bakers Chocolate, Breeze Blue, Silky Silver, Passion Red, Glistening Grey, and Midnight Blue. The car is 3636 mm long, 1495 mm wide, 1670 mm tall, wheelbase stands at 2400 mm.
Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXi+ has been developed for the young generation of today, who prefer a stylish looking car, which is also feature rich and has safety on board. Compared to the Stingray, the new WagonR VXi+ looks very similar on the outside, minus the Stingray badging. On the inside, changes include new black and beige dual tone theme which replaces the all-black theme of Stingray.
