Interiors will get upgraded and according to trim levels will be seen with all black interiors with chrome accents. New Honda City India Launch
The launch of the new Honda City facelift (codename 2GC) will take place in India on 14th February 2017. Considering that the Japanese sedan is no longer leading the sales chart in its segment, it soon needs an update in order to take back the lost share to new Maruti Ciaz. It also needs to be wary of the upcoming new gen Hyundai Verna, also schedule for launch in 2017.

The facelift is also expected to have fixed a fewshortcomings (such as high noise levels of the diesel variants) based on the customer feedback. The 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and i-DTEC diesel engines would continue in India. The petrol 1.5 liter delivers 118 PS while the diesel 1.5 liter delivers 100 PS. It will be available with both automatic (CVT) as well as manual transmission.

Price of the new City will remain more or less in the same range as that of the existing City. More details will be revealed once the car is launched in a few days.
