2017 Geneva Motor Show next month will have the new Ferrari 812 Superfast on display. It is being launched in a special new color of Rosso Settanta to mark the company’s 70th anniversary while it is being marked as the most powerful and fastest series production Ferrari in the company’s history.

Set to be seen with a host of innovative new features and distinctive exteriors, the Ferrari 812 Superfast will target customers in the need for speed. It offers outstanding performance both on road and track and is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine offering 588 kW (800 cv) peak power at 8,500 rpm. Peak torque stands at 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm while 80% of this is available at 3,500 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 is achieved in 2.9 seconds while top speed stands at 340 kmph.

Ferrari 812 Superfast measures 4,657mm in length, 1,971mm in width and 1,276mm in height. It gets an imposing exterior makeup in a two box design with high tail as seen on the 365 GTB4 of 1969. Full LED headlights, a massive bonnet and four round tail lamps at the rear are also noted.

Interiors boast of extra space and added comfort while sportier design elements are also evident. Seating is sporty with better ergonomics with a new HMI, new steering wheel and instrument clusters and the most up to date infotainment system. This is also the first Ferrari to receive Electric Power Steering while handling and performance is notably improved due to the latest 5.0 version of Ferrari Side Slip Control. The model also sports Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system augmenting handling and considerably reducing vehicle response time.

The new 6.5 liter V12 engine is also larger than any other Ferrari engine on sale. It is 200 cc larger than the one we see on F12 and LaFerrari. More info in the news release and photos below. Price will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.
