The New Fifth-Generation CR-V Has Earned Impressive Crash-Test Rating, Like The Previous-Gen Model!
The 2017 Honda CR-V has earned Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) 2017 Top Safety Pick+ award. It is the American crash testing organisation’s highest award a vehicle can earn. The fifth-generation CR-V was revealed in the USA last October and is already on sale in the country.

The competition in the CR-V’s price band is growing rampantly in India with new rivals like the VW Tiguan (local production started recently) and the Jeep Compass (will be revealed on April 12, 2017) arriving soon. Adding to the list of its rivals, Hyundai launched the third-gen Tucson, which falls in the similar price range, last year. Stay tuned to CarDekho for more updates on the new CR-V.
