The 2016 Frankfurt Motor Show saw the introduction of a bunch of improvements to the Renault Duster, including a cosmetic uplift and a more significant Easy-R AMT gearbox. This time, the Romanian subsidiary of the french carmaker Renault is set to launch the all-new Duster at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The updated model boasts of a new exterior design, revamped interior and a host of new features.

The exterior of the second generation Renault Duster witnesses cosmetic changes in the form of a new front grille, LED DRLs, new tail lamp cluster and redesigned bumpers but the overall design stays identical to the current Duster. A healthy amount of black cladding is added all around to project its adventurous intentions.

The raked front windshield now sits 100 mm ahead to improve cabin ambiance. The Tail-lamp cluster has been revised to fall in line with Dacia’s signature four-square design. Renault is also said to have revamped the interiors completely in terms of quality, design and equipment. While the interiors haven’t been revealed yet, the company has showcased the new ‘Atacama Orange’ shade in the exterior shots.

Renault has sold more than 1 million units of the Duster and has high hopes with the new version. With the latest update, not only does the Duster look more purposeful and fresh but has also received much-needed changes inside the cabin. The new model is likely to make its way to India next year.
