Bollywood glamour for Pro basketball league
Kareena Kapoor-Khan and Arjun Kapoor are coming to the city for the inauguration of the popular UBA Pro Basketball League that will begin at the Gachibowli Stadium on Wednesday. India’s first professional basketball event that will be aired live on Ten Sports, Ten Action and Ten HD, has no entry free as the intention has been to popularise the exciting sport.

Two matches will be played daily with the first starting at 4.30pm and the second at 7pm. The Pro Basketball League comprises eight professional teams from across Pan India. Speaking about the League, Todd Mack, Managing Director, United Basketball Alliance India (P) Ltd, said, “Pro Basketball League is a platform meant for the aspiring hoopster, who dreams big.
UBA provides these young players an opportunity to test their skills at the professional level. Additionally, the best players from the League get an opportunity to train outside India, and rub shoulders with some of the biggest global names.” Norman Isaac will be the Technical Commissioner of the League that concludes on April 3.
