Smart Trak installs solar water pump with tracking system

Hyderabad: City-based SmartTrak Solar Systems, a leading manufacturer of solar tracking systems, has installed 5HP solar water pump along with its dual axis solar tracking system at Shamshabad near the city. The company has earlier supplied its dual axis tracking systems to BPCL's refinery stations in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Besides, it also installed solar water pumps with the tracking system in the State. " SmartTrak Tracking Systems are indigenous and are proven to be reliable and rugged. The tracking systems, which can be controlled and monitored remotely, can produce up to 40 per cent more energy than fixed systems," the company said in a release. A solar tracker is a platform fitted with panels which follow the sun across the sky ensuring that maximum amount of sunlight strikes the panels throughout the day. The systems, in general, help produce more energy from PV modules thereby improving return on investment. Dual axis solar tracking System is a perfect solution for water pumps which add value for agriculture, the company added.
