A global recruitment tendering platform 'My Hiring Club.COM' has come up with a study [in across about 40 countries] which ranks Indian information technology companies at 24th place in terms of senior and middle manager-level salaries!

According to this study which was conducted in September, the worldwide IT professionals Salary survey 2013, shared exlusively with ET factors in purchasing power parity and compares the total annual cash compensation and remuneration of the mid-career IT staff across 6,491 companies.
India would have been in 33rd place the eighth lowest worldwide without factoring in purchasing power parity.

Indian IT managers' average pay stood at $39,710 - less than one-fourth of the average salary at top-paying Swiss companies.

"Experienced India continues to be amongst the leading destinations for IT development, given its cost advantage. However , salary inflation and talent shortage could emerge as major challenges," says Rajesh Kumar, CEO, My Hiring Club.com.
'Salaries are going up for professionals with expertise in niche areas' he adds.
