‘Reliance Market’ Launched In City. As part of its commitment to the business community, Reliance Retail, subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd, has opened its first cash and carry store, christened as ‘Reliance Market’ in the city.

Hyderabad: As part of its commitment to the business community, Reliance Retail, subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd, has opened its first cash and carry store, christened as ‘Reliance Market’ in the city.

Located at Sagar Link Road at Bairamalguda, the Reliance Market store is to cater to the needs of local kirana merchants besides traders in nearby towns. It also offer products to hotels, restaurants and offices under one roof.

Spread over 41,000 sq ft space, the market will provide one-stop-shopping experience offering over 7,000 products of both food and non-food, mostly sourced locally.
The variety ranges from fresh fruits and vegetables, detergents and toiletries, staples, groceries, stationery, footwear as well as electronics and IT products, company stated.
Reacting to launch, Reliance Market CEO, Randy Guttery said, “We assure that our Business Partners will definitely benefit by gaining strong returns with our one-stop shop. We are confident the new store will fulfill all their requirements under one roof.”
Explaining philosophy behind the market, he said that it offers inclusive growth to all the business partner and shares benefits of strong sourcing capabilities. It also provide direct and indirect job opportunities in and around the region.
Since the format will cater exclusively to traders and other businesses, the buyer needs to have a business license issued by government or local bodies to become the member.
They also have to furnish Shops and Establishment License or VAT registration to enroll as member, which is being initially offered free of cost, the release has added.
