Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (APPMA) has demanded the state government to expedite setting up of the ‘Plastics Park’ in the state. The plastic consumption in the state is fast increasing and to meet the increasing demand, it would be critical to develop the exclusive industrial park for the sector at faster space, V Anil Reddy, President of the state’s plastics manufacturers’ association, said.
“The state government has in-principle agreed for setting up of Plastics Park and entrusted the task to APIIC, which is in search of land. We requested the government to identify at least 500 acres for the park either at Ibrahimpatnam or Shankarpally around Hyderabad,” Reddy said.
