Hyderabad: City-based Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, a leading player in seeds, has been honoured with ‘Bio Excellence Award for the year 2013’ from the Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology , Government of Karnataka.
M Prabhakar Rao, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, received the award in the presence of Nobel Laureate Professor Sir John Gurdon at a ceremony held as part of the recent ‘Bangalore India BIO 2014’ in Bengaluru. As part of the event, Bio-excellence awards were presented to the biotech leaders for their outstanding achievements in the biotech sector. The awardees were selected by a jury of industry experts constituted by Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE).
