Tecci plans Telangana industrial directory

Hyderabad: Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Tecci), the industrial body representing industrial units in Telangana, is actively working on a directory of small, medium and major industries located in the new state.

“The directory is being designed as a ready reckoner for all entrepreneurs and industrialists of all sectors. Some of the major sectors include power, IT & ITeS, infrastructure, engineering, cement, textiles and pharmaceuticals, etc,” M Venkateshwarlu, President, Tecci, said in a statement.

The industry body requested all the companies to send their profile and all the relevant details so that they could be included in the maiden directory. “We need details like company’s name, location, nature of their product, marketing status, steps to be taken for more growth of their industry and CEO’s name with telephone numbers etc. which are to be mentioned in their profile. A passport size photograph of the CEO may also be sent,” he added.

All the current members of the association should also send their details. More details about the initiative can be obtained from Tecci website (tecci.org). “As this is going to be the first directory after the formation of the new state for Telangana, all the companies both in public and private sectors are requested to make use of this opportunity and see that a timely ready reckoner is kept in place,” he said.
