SBI Introduces Tab Banking. State Bank of India, India’s largest bank, has introduced SBI Tab Banking for the convenience of customers.

Hyderabad: State Bank of India, India’s largest bank, has introduced SBI Tab Banking for the convenience of customers.
Under this, the bank’s representative will visit the customer’s residence/office and by using Tablet, he will take out photos and scan the identity as well as address proof. After completing one page application form with nomination option, all the documents and details will be uploaded to the central hub. The customer will get the account opening message on his mobile.
Janaki Ballav Sahoo, Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India, Personal Banking Business Unit, Local Head Office, Hyderabad, inaugurated the first Tab banking. The first recipient of this new technology facility is Tanikella Bharani, film actor and writer, at his house located in Jubilee Hills. “His SB account welcome kit together with cheque book, ATM Card and internet banking kit has been delivered instantly at his house. The entire process is completed within two minutes,” SBI said in a release.
G Madhusudhana Reddy, Regional Manager, Region4, State Bank of India, V Adiraju, Assistant General Manager (PBS) and Subramanayam, Chief Manager, PBB Branch, Jubilee Hills, also attended the programme.
