Tata to launch Zest, Bolt soon
Homegrown automaker Tata Motors impacted by declining sales for the several months is gearing up to launch two new models – Zest compact sedan and Bolt hatchback – soon, ahead of the upcoming festive season.
Hyderabad: Homegrown automaker Tata Motors impacted by declining sales for the several months is gearing up to launch two new models – Zest compact sedan and Bolt hatchback – soon, ahead of the upcoming festive season.
“Both the new models will be powered by our newly-developed 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine which not only offers superior mileage, but is also packed with superior power,” Ashesh Dhar, National Sales Head (South and East), Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, told media here on Friday. He was in the city to unveil Revotron Lab, which is aimed at educating people about the Revotron engine family, at GVK Mall. According to him, Tata Motors would also use the engine to power several other models in coming years. “Our objective is to launch two brand new models every year till 2020 and the new engine family will help us achieve the goal,” he said.
