Mahindra launches Big Bolero pick-up
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd firmed up its presence in pick-up segment by launching Big Bolero Pik-up here on Wednesday.
Hyderabad:Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd firmed up its presence in pick-up segment by launching Big Bolero Pik-up here on Wednesday. The automaker expects the new pick-up vehicle to raise the bar the segment with its class-leading cargo body length of 9 feet (2765 mm) and payload capacity of up to 1,500 kg.
It will also retain the core values of the erstwhile Bolero Pik-up – its tough and rugged DNA, high earning potential and low maintenance. Big Bolero is priced at Rs 6.34 lakh (BS-3 ex-showroom Warangal) and Rs 6.49 lakh (BS-4 ex-showroom Hyderabad).
The new pick-up will be made at Mahindra’s Kandivali plant near Mumbai. In addition to the 1,250 Kg and 1,500 Kg variants, the Big Bolero Pik-up will also be available in CBC (cowl body chassis) variant which will help the customers to build the cargo body according to their need and application.
It will be powered by MDI turbo-charged engine that delivers 63 bhp power and 195 Nm torque for the BS-3 variants, and 70 bhp power and 195 Nm torque in the case of the BS-4 variants.
