Chinese smartphones, televisions and virtual reality headsets maker LeEco (formerly LeTV), has tied up with film production house Eros Now, digital entertainment service Hungama and live Internet TV channel streaming platform YuppTV to launch an ecosystem membership programme for its soon-to-be-launched ‘Made for India’ superphone Le 1s Eco. 

Hyderabad: Chinese smartphones, televisions and virtual reality headsets maker LeEco (formerly LeTV), has tied up with film production house Eros Now, digital entertainment service Hungama and live Internet TV channel streaming platform YuppTV to launch an ecosystem membership programme for its soon-to-be-launched ‘Made for India’ superphone Le 1s Eco.

The supertainment package for Rs 10,899 includes one Le Ls Eco device for Rs 9,999, a one-year membership fee of Rs 4,900 and a LeEco offer of Rs 4,000. LeEco will host the first flash sale for 1s Eco on Flipkart on May 12. The 5.5-inch smartphone, powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, runs on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It sports a 13-MP rear shooter and a 5-MP front-facing camera.

“Indian fans can now enjoy more than 2,000 movie titles, over 100 TV channels and 2.5 million music tracks under LeEco membership,” William Lee, Vice-President (content) of LeEco, Asia-Pacific, stated in a release on Tuesday. LeEco, which entered the Indian market with the launch of two superphones Le 1s and Le Max in early 2016, has so far sold 400,000 units in India. In 2015, the company’s global membership revenues reached $417 million.
