SyberPlace to bring 5,000 mobile resellers on board
SyberPlace.com, a city-based webstore that sells digital technology such as smartphones, laptops, tablets and accessories, is working towards adding 5,000 smartphone resellers as merchant-partners to its platform as it seeks to achieve 90-minute fast-track delivery offering to its customers, pan-India.
Hyderabad: SyberPlace.com, a city-based webstore that sells digital technology such as smartphones, laptops, tablets and accessories, is working towards adding 5,000 smartphone resellers as merchant-partners to its platform as it seeks to achieve 90-minute fast-track delivery offering to its customers, pan-India.
“The service delivery to our discerning customers needs to improve substantially. With an average selling price of Rs 17,000, we serve customers who are high in socioeconomic classification and are looking for superior services. We need to expand our business ecosystem to support these service requirements,” said SyberPlace CoFounder Sahibjot Sodhi.
Founded in 2008, SyberPlace is funded from internal cash accruals. The company currently has 100 active partners on board. “SyberPlace is within a striking radius from its target of shipments worth Rs 100 crore per month, which will gain us a customer base of 100,000 customers every month.
So far, we have served 300,000 customers,” Sodhi added. At present, SyberPlace has a gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate of Rs 100 crore. It is aiming at garnering a GMV of Rs 1,200 crore by the end of March 2017.
