Fun & fervour mark BDL Formation Day Celebrations
The Formation day celebrations ended on a high note with colourful cultural programme performed by BDL employees and their families.

The 47th Formation Day of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Defence PSU, Govt. of India was celebrated today with a lot of fun and fervour. Employees and their families participated enthusiastically in the events organized to mark the celebrations.
A highlight of the celebration was naming of BDL Stadium at Bhanur as Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Stadium where, the 1stInter-Unit Cricket Tournament was held for award of the Chairman’s Cup.A total number of five teams from all the three units of BDL viz., BDL Kanchanbagh, Bhanur and Visakhapatnam participated in the tournament. The “Blazers” Team of Bhanur Unit emerged as the Winner of the Chairman’s Cup defeating “Blasters” Team in the finals. Shri V. Udaya Bhaskar, CMD, BDL presented the Cup to winning team. Dr NK Raju, ED(P&A) coordinated the Formation Day celebrations.
