Mirabel Technologies Inc, a US-based developer of cloud-based solutions for the marketing and digital publishing industry, will be making an incremental investment of $6 million (around Rs 40 crore) in its India business, including expanding its global research and development (R&D) centre in Hyderabad, hiring the right talent, creating more server infrastructure and in advertising.

Hyderabad: Mirabel Technologies Inc, a US-based developer of cloud-based solutions for the marketing and digital publishing industry, will be making an incremental investment of $6 million (around Rs 40 crore) in its India business, including expanding its global research and development (R&D) centre in Hyderabad, hiring the right talent, creating more server infrastructure and in advertising.

The privately-held company, which entered India in 2003 with an R&D centre in Hyderabad to develop products and technical support to the US team, has invested over $4.2 million (approximately Rs 27 crore) in the Hyderabad facility since 2012.

“The Hyderabad R&D centre currently employs 75 professionals, including big data architects and data scientists. We plan to push past the team to 100 by the end of 2017,” Elton Sayward, Chief Operating Officer of Mirabel Technologies, told reporters here.
