Artistes booking app JilMore spreads to US, UK
After gaining a strong foothold in its home turf, JilMore, a Hyderabad-based online and mobile platform that enables booking of live entertainment performers, is now spreading its wings to the US and UK via the franchise business model.Â
Hyderabad: After gaining a strong foothold in its home turf, JilMore, a Hyderabad-based online and mobile platform that enables booking of live entertainment performers, is now spreading its wings to the US and UK via the franchise business model.
JilMore, which receives mentoring support from renowned playback singer SP Balasubramanyam, has signed franchise agreements with NRI Varaprasad Kandagatla for seven states in the US, and Bhaskar Neela and Venkat Neela for taking franchise in the UK.
The one-year-old entertainers booking startup, which connects users with live singers, anchors, emcees, magicians, musicians, makeup artists, bands, VJs and DJs through its online portal and Android app, has also raised Rs 1 crore from friends and UK-based non-resident Indians (NRIs) to fuel its expansion into countries like Malaysia, Singapore, the UAE, Dubai, Canada and Switzerland over the next six months.
