Hyderabad: Looking to make your home smart and automate it? This device will come in handy for you. Blaze Automation, a city-based IoT firm, on Wednesday launched ‘B.One Hub’, a home automation hub that enables homeowners to control and automate security, ambience, entertainment and HVAC systems in their houses.
Launched a couple of months back in international markets where it received orders worth Rs 260 crore so far, the device will go on sale in India from August this year. “With B.One Hub, we will offer the most advanced and affordable device for home owners in India where the smart home market is worth about Rs 8,800 crore,” Arjun Valluri, Chairman, Blaze Automation, told the media here after rolling out the product into the Indian market.
First showcased at CES 2017, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, and currently on sale in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada, the product is certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US and Industry Canada (IC). It is in the process of receiving certifications from Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Blaze Automation feels that the Indian government’s mission to build 100 Smart Cities will drive the growth of the smart home market. “This segment is currently clocking an annual growth upwards of 25 per cent,” said Valluri.
Blaze Automation which secured seven patents for its products so far has plans to expand its sales to EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), South America and South East Asia regions. “We want to become the world’s most widely used home automation and security hub, while helping home owners digitize their lifestyle and optimize energy savings,” Sridhar Ponugupati, CEO, Blaze Automation.
