Hyderabad: Mumbai-based My Eco Energy Private Limited on Thursday announced plans to set up fuel outlets in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for selling its biofuel Indizel which the company claims to be a better alternative for diesel.

Indizel is a non-petroleum based fuel made from vegetable oils. The company which developed the process for the fuel gets it made at refinery in Singapore and imports it in India.

“We are planning to have 300 to 500 outlets in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, most of them through franchise route. Our first outlet will come up at Toopran soon,” SantoshVerma, co-founder, My Eco Energy, told the media here.

According to him, Indizel is a preferred diesel as it is made from the biodegradable products. “This initiative will bring value to the industry and communities, helping them solve some of today’s most pressing environmental concerns.

It is not only a better alternative to ordinary diesel but is economical and suitable for the vehicle as it offers better fuel efficiency, ensuring a smoother ride as better lubricity provides longer engine life,” he said.

Indizel burns cleaner than petroleum- based fuels, which results in lower emissions of carbon-monoxide, particulate matter and unburned hydrocarbons, he adds.

Indizel meets European ( EN 590 EURO 6 ) and BIS ( IS 1460) Bharat stage VI emission norms collating with World Wide Fuel Charter (WWFC), the company said.
