Hyderabad: City-based ReserveDine, an online aggregator of restaurants, on Monday announced its plans to raise $5 million for funding its expansion plans. The startup also facilitates table reservations and provides other technology-related solutions to restaurants.

“We have invested Rs 2 crore into the venture so far. Our plan is to raise $5 million for our expansion and we are hopeful of closing this deal in three months,” Ahmed Sharief, founder &CEO, ReserveDine, told the media here on Monday. The startup which is yet to formally launch its services in Hyderabad has so far added 3,000 restaurants to its platform in the city.

It also roped in some restaurants in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh where it will roll out services before expanding to other cities like Bengaluru. “ReserveDine’ s user-friendly app gives all the experience a diner would love to have at restaurants and nightlife options in the city. Reviews, 360 degree inside view of the restaurants, detailed menus and a unique social platform for all food lovers, are among the features that differentiate us from the existing competitors,” Sharief said.
