NCCL posts 21% growth in Q1 net profit
NCC Ltd (NCCL) on Tuesday announced its first quarter results. The infrastructure major has recorded a turnover of Rs2,034.6 crore including other income in first quarter of FY18 as against Rs1,929.7 crore in the previous corresponding quarter showing five percent growth, according to a release.

The company has reported EBIDTA of Rs170.9 crore and a net profit of Rs63.4 crore as against Rs165.7 crore and Rs52.3 crore reported respectively in the corresponding quarter of the previous year resulting in an increase of 21 percent in net profit.
“During the first quarter, the company secured substantial orders aggregating to Rs6,051 crore and the order book stood at Rs22,009crore as at the end of the quarter.
The value of projects on hand rose 22 percent in the first quarter of 2017-18,” A Ranga Raju, MD, NCCL, said in the release. The company has posted an EPS of Rs1.14 for the first quarter as against EPS of Rs0.94 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
