Hyderabad: Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) has prepared a four-point agenda for a better cyber security, while seeking partnership between the government and IT industry.

It has appreciated the Telangana government’s initiatives on cyber security as the police department has successfully embraced new technology applications in crime detection and control more importantly cyber security.

Jayesh Ranjan, Telangana IT secretary, inaugurated the conclave organized by SCSC here on Monday. SCSC organized its third cyber security conclave.

Jayesh Ranjan said: “Despite being the youngest state, we have several policies in place which is very important to have as a government and we are implementing the policies effectively.”

Commissioner of Police Sandeep Shandilya, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Mahesh Bhagwat, Roland Cloutier, CIO, ADP, Brig General Doron Tamir and Bharani K Aroll, secretary, SCSC, took part in the conclave. Several CEOs, COOs and CIOs from the industry were present on the occasion.

Cloutier added that “The jobs of the security officers is focused on protecting the businesses that they serve every day. However, the fundamentals that we need to always remember are people, process and technology.”s Aroll said that SCSC has been getting overwhelming support from the IT industry on its several initiatives of cyber security.
