Chintapalli Gayatri Chaitanya has been appointed as an Executive Director in Bank of India. Prior to his elevation, Chaitanya was Chief Executive of Bank of India Singapore Centre, covering Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia & Myanmar. In Singapore, he initiated various measures very effectively, including regulatory compliances, AML/CFT.

Hyderabad: Chintapalli Gayatri Chaitanya has been appointed as an Executive Director in Bank of India. Prior to his elevation, Chaitanya was Chief Executive of Bank of India Singapore Centre, covering Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia & Myanmar. In Singapore, he initiated various measures very effectively, including regulatory compliances, AML/CFT.

Chaitanya, a postgraduate in agriculture and CAIIB, joined Bank of India as probationary agricultural officer in June 1985. He is the key person, who started the syndication cell as a separate department in the bank. He also got wide experience in project finance with Technical Appraisal Department.

In the process, he gained vast experience in power, road, steel, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Chaitanya also worked as head of corporate credit branch. In the past, Chaitanya handled several assignments during his 32 years career with the Bank. He got wide overseas experience in various capacities including as a Vice President of New York Branch.
