Bharat Electronics Limited posts 19% upswing in Q2 net
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna defence PSU, posted a turnover of Rs 2431.73 crore during the second quarter ended in September this year, registering a growth of about 46 per cent over Rs 1664.38 crore it recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Hyderabad: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna defence PSU, posted a turnover of Rs 2431.73 crore during the second quarter ended in September this year, registering a growth of about 46 per cent over Rs 1664.38 crore it recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit after tax (PAT) during the second quarter of FY18 stood at Rs 412.39 crore, registering a growth of about 19 over the net profit of Rs 346.25 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company has achieved a turnover of Rs 4,126.28 crore in the first six months of the current fiscal, clocking a growth of about 64 per cent from Rs 2518.69 crore recorded in the same period last year. The net profit during the six-month period stood at Rs 537.71 crore, a growth of about 41 per cent over from Rs 382.34 crore a year ago.
