Confederation of Indian Industry to hold Excon 2017 in Bengaluru
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising CII EXCON 2017, South Asia’s largest construction equipment and construction technology trade fair, in Bengaluru during December 12-16, 2017.
Hyderabad: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising CII EXCON 2017, South Asia’s largest construction equipment and construction technology trade fair, in Bengaluru during December 12-16, 2017. The 5-day international exhibition would attract over 1,000 exhibitors including 300 overseas companies and over 40,000 business visitors.
The trade show is part of CII’s objective of positioning India as a global hub for construction equipment manufacturing. Promoting 9th edition of EXCON-2017, CII organised a roadshow here on Tuesday. Senior officials from Telangana government, industry leaders and stakeholders from the infrastructure and construction equipment sectors participated in the roadshow.
Sanjay Singh, Vice-President, CII-Telangana. and Divisional Chief Executive, ITC Ltd, said: “India’s investment in infrastructure is estimated to double to about $1 trillion during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17) compared to the previous Five-Year Plan. The Government has committed huge capital outlay in developing rail and highway networks.”
