Insecticides (India) trains 7,000 farmers in TS, AP

Hyderabad: Insecticides (India) Ltd (IIL) has conducted farmer meetings across Telangana and AP on the safe and judicious use of agro-chemicals. Farmer education sessions across both the Telugu states were conducted and more than 7,000 farmers were trained on the safe use and right methodology for spray of agro-chemicals, according to a release.

• Education on safe use of agro chemicals

A total of 160 meetings have been organised in different parts of the two states. Several training and awareness sessions for farmers were conducted on core topics including taking full body bath after the spraying of agro chemicals, how to breathe in open air, while spraying, etc.
