Kochi (Kerala): Food ordering and delivery platform, Swiggy, after its expansion to four new cities in the last three months, will now be launching its services in Kochi.

Currently, the southern cities of India, namely Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad are some of Swiggy's strongest markets, and this expansion will further reinstate its position as the food ordering platform of choice.

With live order tracking, industry-best delivery time and the largest spread of restaurants, Swiggy will offer people the convenience and choice to have their favorite food delivered, whenever and wherever they want.

The platform will also offer the special late-night delivery option for Kochi-ites, two weeks after its launch in the city.

Foraying in Kochi, Swiggy promises to further continue to spread the legacy down South and make it easier for the eclectic mix of local eateries to reach food lovers.

Being one of the biggest cultural and financial hubs of Kerala, Kochi has witnessed an amalgamation of interesting cuisines.

The city boasts of the pan-Indian culinary culture, mixed along with middle-eastern flavors.

The culinary preference of Kochi-ites is a perfect blend of Malabari, Chinese and north Indian cuisines. Apart from these, middle-eastern flavors have also found their way into the local palate. Arabian food joints are an exciting new addition to the city's food landscape.

Popular restaurants such as Ifthar, Ceylon Bake House, Dhe puttu, Haji ali and Chaicofi will now be available on Swiggy.
