Table-tennis player felicitated
Fresh from three successful international tournaments (Jordan Open, Slovenia Open and Indian Open) in this season, city-based Table Tennis player, S Fidel R Snehit, was accorded a rousing reception at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here on Friday.

BVBPS senior principal, C Ramadevi, said that Snehit, a student of 12th standard, is a source of inspiration for sportspersons in the school.
"Snehit joined our school in his third standard and he has been performing well in sports and academics. We are proud of him. We like him for his discipline and sincerity," she said.
She maintained that Snehit, India No-4, is the second best Indian Junior player in the World Ranking.
"My school's support is amazing and I am lucky to have that. Everyone here extends full support to maintain balance between sports and studies," Snehit said.
Shehit had won a gold (singles) and two silver medals (team and doubles) in Jordan Open in July and another gold (team) and bronze (doubles) in Slovenia Open in September and a silver (team) in the just-concluded Indian Open.
