As the jury is judging only 16 films, Honey feels that the jury and she might have missed some really good films that haven’t made to the final cut. “There were 800 entries and we are judging only 16. These went through a rigorous screening process. But what if we missed out on some really good films,” she asks.

She has no qualms about making super hero films and larger-than-life character films as long as they give a good message to children. When asked about the need for incentives to promote children’s films, “There is a need for funding children’s films, but the funds should reach the right hands,” she asserts.

One against over spending, she says, “Our movies shoot up the budget because we don’t spend where it is necessary and spend more where it is not.” She lashed out at movie reviewers saying, “Good films go by word of mouth. What is the point if the reviewer gives five stars for a film and the people have a harrowing experience watching it”?

Speaking about the criteria she looks for while judging the movie, “I look for theme, acting, story and emotional connect while judging.”

The jury has almost completed the task of judging movies and will come to a decision today.
