Rana’s Bilingual In February. As soon as he completes shooting for the war sequences of Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, actor Rana will shift gears for ‘Andala Rakshasi’ director Hanu Raghavapudi’s next, which will be produced by the actor’s father Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions.
While Rana may be occupied with two period dramas - ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Rudhramadevi’ – as of now, he will get a breather in February. However, he will start shooting for filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi’s next, an action love story, from February-end. A Telugu-Hindi bilingual, it will be filmed at Kolkata and Istanbul

As soon as he completes shooting for the war sequences of Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, actor Rana will shift gears for ‘Andala Rakshasi’ director Hanu Raghavapudi’s next, which will be produced by the actor’s father Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions.
“Rana is expected to complete his portions for ‘Baahubali’ by February after which he will begin Hanu’s film. It will be an action thriller and since it is his first film on his grandfather’s iconic banner, he is pulling all stops to ensure that it will be a milestone in his career. The script has been locked and both Rana and Hanu are raring to go,” said a source.
The source added that it would be shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. “After the debacle of ‘Department’, Rana is keen on reviving his career on the Bollywood front too. Though he was flooded with offers from B-town he let them go by. He felt Hanu’s subject had the potential to be a success in Hindi too before convincing his dad to make it as a bilingual,” the source said and added that a meticulous planner that Suresh Babu is, he is already chalking out plans to release the film next December.
Right now, Hanu is finalising a lead opposite Rana and it would be no surprise if he ropes in a happening Bollywood face. The yet-titled film will also host the likes of noted Bollywood faces in supporting characters, added the source.
