Trivikram Out, Koratala In. It would be Koratala Siva calling the shots for Arjun’s next film, beginning in January

Director Trvikiram who was set to direct Allu Arjun for the second time after their earlier film ‘Julayi’ has backed out. It would be Koratala Siva calling the shots for Arjun’s next film, beginning in January
It has been a struggle for writer-turned-director director Koratala Siva to embark on his second film after his first -- ‘Mirchi’ -- proved a blockbuster hit. With stars like Ram Charan and NTR giving him the nod only for him to wait endlessly, the director apparently has moved on.
According to a source, he has taken Allu Arjun into confidence for his second project and will start shooting by January. And what’s more, ace producer Dil Raju will produce the film under Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC).
The source said, “Siva waited for way too long. He shares a good equation with Dil Raju as he is the one who penned the dialogues for ‘Brindavanam’, Raju’s production with NTR in the lead. Moreover, Allu Arjun too was in line to do a film with Raju since the last 18 months.
Siva’s subject impressed Raju who in turn ensured that Arjun listens to it. Impressed with the story, the star actor has allocated the first half of 2014 for Siva. He will complete his current film ‘Race Gurram’ by end-December; take a mini break and join Siva’s film.”
The source added that it will be a family/action drama and the casting is on. “On the technical front, Devi Sri Prasad who shares an affable relation with SVC, Bunny and Siva, is tipped to compose the soundtrack.”
The source further added that Siva is keen on completing this film by summer so that he can move to his project with Superstar Mahesh Babu which is scheduled to go on sets from July. Dil Raju was unavailable for comment.
