Baadshah babe to play an Olympian in her next

The name of Meenakshi Dixit, who was last seen in an item number in NTR starrer ‘Baadshah’, has recently been cropping up in many gossip columns. Rumour had it that she would next be seen in another song in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, ‘Aagadu’. But she denies such news and says, “No! I am not part of ‘Aagadu’. It’s just speculation.”

So, if she isn’t a part of the upcoming Srinu Vaitla directorial venture, what has she been busy with these days? “I am working on ‘Adavi Kaachina Vennela’ opposite Arvind Krishna. The shooting has commenced and the post production is in process.”

“It’s a thriller in which I play a central character,” she says speaking about her role in the film. “I play a sharp-shooter who has participated in Olympics and the story is about how a small incident changes my life,” she adds.

“When you watch the film, you won’t believe it’s director Akki Viswanadha Reddy’s debut. It has a Hollywood feel to it.”

Meanwhile, the actress has also finished shoot for her debut vehicle in Hindi, ‘P Se PM Tak’, and a Tamil film ‘Jagajala Pujabala Thenaliraman’, where she plays the daughter of Vadivelu.
