Pawan Kalyan to contest from Anakapalle in Vizag?

Pawan Kalyan threw his hat in the poll ring on Sunday when his office sent a press note that hinted at his entry into politics.

Ever since, several reports surrounding his political career are doing the rounds. The latest we hear is that the actor has confided to his close friends about his inclination to politics and also sent his staff to New Delhi to get his party's name registsred with the Election Commission of India.

This is not it! If a report doing the round in political circles is anything to by, then Pawan is keen on contesting the Lok Sabha pills from the Anakapalle constituency.

Grapevine has it that Pawan had never intended to be at the mercy of any party, not even TDP as reports suggest. This is because Pawan knows that he will not get any extra mileage from any party and that his popularity is enough to get him votes. On the other hand, political parties will get some boost with his presence in their party.

Political observers are of the view that Pawan Kalyan was waiting for a final decision on the state bifurcation issue to make a move. Besides, the rumours of Kiran Kumar Reddy dropping his plans to float his own party is believed to have made Pawan's decision easier.
