While Wednesday’s message stating ‘no press meet of Pawan Kalyan’s political views as of now’ came as a shocker to many, it is now understood that the actor will indeed be addressing the press this Sunday clarifying his political ambitions
Ever since Superstar Pawan Kalyan indicated that he would let his political thoughts to the public next week, not just the film fraternity even the political fraternity too, was on its toes. While the matinee idol has remained tight-lipped about the numerous reports floating across websites and social media for the past few days, it is now understood that he indeed would be calling for a presser this Sunday to talk about his plans. This volte face comes after a terse SMS stating ‘There is no press meet of ‘Pawan Kalyan’ political views as of now’ on Wednesday.
A source points out, “The groundwork for the party is already in full-swing. The activities surrounding party’s logo and design are in the conclusion stage. On Sunday, he will speak on a wide range of issues, ranging from politics to his last film’s piracy. Both Pawan and his director friend Trivikram Srinivas are currently brainstorming on how to go about the elections now that the poll dates have been announced. They are catching up with prime time shows of national news channels which are running election surveys.”
The source added further, “Pawan has also called on his friends and political aspirants who helped him campaign vociferously for erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party. He is expected to contest from Kakinada or Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency.”
It is also leant from reliable sources that he will be campaigning across the state with the slogan ‘power kosam kaadu, prashninchatam kosam vastunna’ (Am not here for power but to question). The actor, who, we hear, is writing a book on the issues that paralyzed the current political system, will be releasing the book a week after the presser.
