Pawan's political party to hit TDP-Congress prospects?Hyderabad: The entry of Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan into the State political arena with his newly launched party Jana Sena Party will change political equations in Andhra Pradesh, say political analysts.

This is more particularly so in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions as State assembly and Lok Sabha elections are round the corner. The actor delivered a fiery two-hour speech to announce the launch of his party on March 14.

It is going to be a tough battle between TDP and Congress in Seemaandhra while Jana Sena Party is set to play a ‘spoil sport’, so to say, amidst the fight. One of the two parties are bound to receive a setback from the debutant political party. In Telangana, Pawan’s party could loosen the Telangana Rashtra Samiti's stronghold!

Though former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy also launched a new political party, Jai Samaikyaandhra, with the vision of a United Andhra Pradesh, he is largely being seen as a dark horse. Pawan’s launch was, however, more dramatic and grander leaving behind even his megastar brother Chiranjeevi at the time he launched his own political party Praja Rajyam Party in 2008.

If the responses on social media to Pawan's last move are anything to go by then he may cause damage to the prospects of both TDP and Congress while shoving Jai Samaikyaandhra into the backseat.

Pawan Kalyan has not verbalized his political plans and agenda for the elections yet. However, his party is widely expected to field candidates in sizeable number of constituencies across the State.

TDP chief Chandrababu has invited Pawan to join hands with his party. Pawan, on his part, amply made it clear in his launch speech that he doesn’t have any regional inclinations. This does raise expectations among the parties of a possible tie-up.
