Ram Gopal Varma Pans Pawan Kalyan ‘ISM’ Book. Controversy’s favourite child Ramgopal Varma has found himself yet again in news following his sensational comments on Pawan Kalyan’s friend and co-writer of ‘Ism’, Raju Ravitej.

  • Deplores Raju Ravitej’s understanding; challenges him to an open debate
  • Says what's needed is pure Pawanism, not philosophies of the past

Controversy’s favourite child Ramgopal Varma has found himself yet again in news following his sensational comments on Pawan Kalyan’s friend and co-writer of ‘Ism’, Raju Ravitej. “I don't know Raju Ravitej, but as a fan of Pawan and as an absorber of his philosophy myself, I think Pawan is being drastically misled by him,” RGV tweeted. This remark appeared hours after RGV’s comment that the ‘Ism’ book should have been simpler. Getting into the details of the book and the philosophy described in the book, RGV tweeted, “Loved Pawan's first speech, missed the Vizag one and after reading ‘Ism’, am extremely disturbed with the unimaginably half-baked understanding. I am shocked by the amateurish understanding of Schopenhauer by Raju Ravitej. I am shocked that a guy as intelligent as Pawan didn’t understand diagnostic aspects of Emmanuel Kant which Raju Ravitej is so falsely representing.”

RGV implored Pawan not to to fall prey to ‘horrendous misinterpretation’ of philosophies of Schopenhauer and Kant by Raju Ravitej. He challenged Raju Ravitej to an open debate on how badly he is misleading Pawan Kalyan. “I truly wish that Pawan Kalyan realises that he doesn't need ISM's and he also doesn't need unnecessary influences,” RGV added.

When the fans of Pawan Kalyan took on him on Twitter, RGV explained, “For all who are asking, I believe that there's more instinctive wisdom in Pawan Kalyan himself than in the entire non-explanatory book of ISM. I truly think Pawan didn’t read Arthur Schopenhauer's ‘The world as will and idea’ and depended upon other’s misreadings of it.” “Pawan's originality doesn't need elementary interpretations of Schopenhauer's metaphysics, Kant's epistemology and Marx's dialectic materialism,” RGV asserted. He said that Ravitej should understand that yesteryear’s philosophies have already been absorbed into evolution of societies – what's needed is pure Pawanism.
