Taapsee to romance Khiladi Kumar

Actress Taapsee Pannu seems to be making all the right moves in Bollywood. Completing her second film, ‘RunningShaadi.com’ recently, the Delhi-beauty has bagged a biggie; she would be romancing Superstar Akshay Kumar in a film that will be helmed by Neeraj Pandey. For starters, the director is associated with making cult films like ‘A Wednesday’ and ‘Special 26’. Neeraj had taken Akshay into confidence long back but was waiting for a suitable girl to star alongside Kumar to take the project on floors. Looks like the search has ended with our own Punjabi kudi! Akshay too seems to have a penchant for South leading ladies. In the past too, he romanced the likes of Trisha, Asin and Kajal Aggarwal - big names in Tollywood. His next, ‘It’s Entertainment’, stars Tamannaah alongside him. The curly-haired actress, who will be playing an undercover agent, will be his fifth leading lady from the southern film industry. An excited Taapsee confirmed the news by taking to Twitter on Sunday. “Early morning best time to reveal the news I was so eager to tell u all. My next Hindi movie after ‘runningshaadi.com’ has been finalized. I can now check mark my bucket list option of working in an action movie with @akshaykumar and that too under Neeraj Pandey's direction. One of the most awaited character I wanted to play. An undercover agent. It just can't get better! (sic),” tweeted the actress. The yet-untitled film will go to sets in May. The actresses’ lone Telugu project is ‘Muni 3’. The status of the film hangs in balance.
