Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) P Singh directed Mumbai Police Commissioner to arrest the persons concerned and produce them at his court on June 4th. These warrants were issued based on a case filed under various sections of the IPC by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha in November, 2013. It alleged that few scenes in the movie hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.

Earlier, the Madhya Pradesh high court had stopped the release of the film until November 22nd, 2013 but it was released on November 12th itself.
